Mobile friendly recruitment is being carried out of most of the companies to minimize the physical interviews and sort outing systems of curricula vitae are being done by computer. Nearly 90% of the job seekers are using mobile friendly apps to obtain jobs. Companies also encourage the employers to make the optimum use of mobiles to ease the recruitment process.

Social media such as Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn etc. are some of the examples of mobile applications which helps in friendly mobile recruitments.


Significance of mobile friendly recruitment.

Ø  It is cost effective: No need to spend money to submission of documents for the particular job

Ø  It’s immediate: Results can be visible immediately once the recruitment is done and recruitment can be stopped immediately once the correct person is recruited.

Ø  Can attract a crowd of audience: Due to the virtual recruitment system, all the people who are involved in the interview panel and wherever the recruiters are can carry out the interviews.

Ø  It is very easy to apply and advertise: Advertising for a job also very effective and millions of people can be reached and same way for ease of apply for the job, anybody and anywhere can be applied.

Ø  Flexible: Compare to the physical recruitment, the flexible interview venue can be scheduled as it is a mobile recruitment.

Ø  It is durable: Rather finding a job vacancy in a newspaper which is not durable, can obtain virtual job vacancies any time in the web which is not erasable.

Ø  Higher reachability: it can be reach to all over the people, which will provide the better candidates for the organization. 


Disadvantage of mobile friendly recruitment

ü  Genuine recruiters cannot be identified.

ü  Data can be misused. e.g.: personal information.

ü  Subscription fee may have to be paid in some recruiting agents to continuous process.

ü  Competition level is high due to the open source

ü  It attracts fraudulent applicants

ü  It could lead to lost labor hour

ü  Cannot see the physical appearance of the people because some recruitments consider the appearance of the people

ü  Social interaction will be reduced due to the mobile recruitments. 



Conclusion

Even though there are negative impacts in this recruitment system, based on a situation whereas physical recruitment cannot be carried out, mobile friendly recruitment system will help to millions of jobless people to get a better job in a short period based on their qualifications as well as mobile friendly recruitments reduce the time consumption for the selection process and able to select the proper personality for the job. As well as the mobile friendly recruitments are more advisable in COVID-19 situations in the world.

But most of the human resources staff still not equipped with technical knowledge and skills to handle IT based recruitment and candidates are very reluctant to open up in the interview process.

Although there are disadvantages in the mobile friendly recruitment, we should look at the bigger picture of it, as it helps reduce a lot of paper work as well as unnecessary time-consuming tasks.
