They learn best when they can relate to others, thus they thrive in a group or social context. They have a strong sense of empathy and are particularly adept at deciphering other people's moods and motivations. As a result, they are likely to be excellent leaders or team members (Blair, 1993).

HOW TO BE A GOOD MANAGER: STRATEGIES

This strategies will help to sharpen the ability and knowledge of the managers. Each of these strategies will not only help to become a better manager and contribute to an overall better work environment.


1.      Trust:  Trust is essential in any connection, but it is more critical in the Manager-Employee dynamic.

2.      Listen:  It's easy to get caught up in your job and responsibilities as a manager, but make time to actively listen to your people.

3.      Communicate:  Being a successful manager necessitates effective communication. Know your communication style and how to communicate with each of your staff the most effectively.

4.      Be collaborative:  Encourage your staff to collaborate and brainstorm instead of micromanaging or spoon-feeding ideas.

5.      Promote personal and professional development:  Keep your personal and professional growth goals in mind all year.

6.      Have regular check-ins:  Set up recurring calendar invites for one-on-one meetings with each of your team members on a regular basis.

7.      Find out what motivates your employees:  A successful manager must figure out how to keep their people enthusiastic, engaged, and productive through motivating them.

8.      Give employees a balance of praise and criticism:  When you praise your staff too much, the impact and meaning of the praise is diminished.

9.      Manage up, not just down:  It is your obligation as a manager to be an advocate for your staff. Ensure that your bosses are informed about your personnel and that expectations are clear.

10.   Consider management training:  Raise your hand if you'd like more training and resources to help you be the best Manager you can be ( Stetsyk, 2019).

    Great managers can and should progress to great leadership roles. still varying Managing and leading need unique soft abilities, but both are most successful if used in combination. When managers are leaders, they are more motivated. Leaders are only effective when they effectively manage their teams.

    The other most important factor that is involved in the making of a good manager is being empathetic. Showing empathy to your workers and the employees around you can be very motivational. Everyone needs to be acknowledged and want their efforts to be noticed.

    According to Schooley, (2021) a team can be controlled by anyone with expertise or qualifications, but your management responsibilities go beyond work assignment and timesheet authorization. To be a competent manager, you must prioritize the development of both your team and your organization, great article thank you for the sharing.

Great managers are able to lead teams, help them grow, and maintain full control over their business and its performance at the same time.
